Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated ‘Laxmi Govind,’ a residential project by Land Trades Builders and Developers, at Alvares Road in Mangaluru on September 13.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a traditional puja at the project premises. MLA Vedavyas Kamath formally inaugurated the project by cutting the ribbon and later lit the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Vedavyas Kamath extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the Gauri-Ganesh festival and congratulated Srinath Hebbar on completing another landmark residential project.
“I congratulate Srinath Hebbar on completing his 45th project. He has contributed significantly to the development of Dakshina Kannada district. Land Trades is well known for constructing quality buildings, and its customers are highly satisfied with the company’s work,” he said.
Kamath also appreciated the collaboration between Satish Kamath and Land Trades Builders and Developers in executing the project.
“The landowner is from Koteshwar and has established his business in Mangaluru. He is a Chartered Accountant and is also known to my family. I have attended several of his family functions. I congratulate both Satish Kamath and Srinath Hebbar for joining hands to develop this residential project,” he added.
Speaking about the rapid growth of Mangaluru, the MLA said the city had witnessed significant development, particularly in the construction of high-rise buildings.
“Mangaluru is growing rapidly. Within the limits of the Mangaluru City Corporation, there is considerable scope for further development. After Bengaluru, Mangaluru is one of the important cities in Karnataka witnessing significant growth in the construction of high-rise buildings,” he observed.
He noted that the city had the necessary infrastructure and regulatory provisions to facilitate vertical development.
“Land Trades has worked hard for the development of Mangaluru. From the bhoomi puja to the completion of a project, the company has maintained quality standards and fulfilled its responsibilities, including the payment of taxes. This is a valuable contribution to the growth of the city,” Kamath said.
He once again congratulated Srinath Hebbar and Satish Kamath and wished the project every success.
