Mortal Remains Reaching Home from Saudi Arabia after Two Months

Beltangady: Fakruddin Ahmed (22), son of Ahmed Ibrahim of Maddadka from the taluk, who was working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, had died of a heart attack there two months ago.

He was employed with Red Tag firm and had died in sleep. The Saudi authorities had declined to release his body until a full investigation was completed, especially since the death had occurred at such a young age.

Now the investigations have been completed and it has been declared that heart attack had caused his death. According to family sources, the mortal remains are being airflown to India. They are likely to reach home on Monday, Apr 18.

Many social workers hailing from the coastal district had worked in tandem with the embassy of India in Saudi Arabia to have the remains repatriated to India as early as possible.
