Karkala: A 26 year-old car driver was killed and two others seriously injured when the car they were travelling in collided head-on into a Mini Bus Mudaru near Bajagoli, Karkala Taluk on Wednesday April 27.
The deceased has been identified as Deekshith (26) a resident of Ujire.
According to the police Deekshith and his family were on the way from Ujire to Bajagoli on their Swift Car when a Mini Bus which was coming from opposite side collided head-on into their car. Deekshith died on the spot, two other passengers in car suffered serious head injuries and are being treated at a private hospital.
Rash and negligent driving is said to have caused the accident. The Karkala Rural police have registered a case.
