Our Lady of Miracles Church, Mangalore, Commemorates the Last Supper
Mangalore: Faithful gathered at Our Lady of Miracles Church to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ. The solemn occasion was marked by a Eucharistic celebration led by Fr. Rajesh Rosrieo, Rector of St Joseph Seminary.

During the service, Fr. Avith Pais elucidated the profound significance of the day, emphasizing the institution of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Priesthood, and the commandment of love manifested through selfless service.
In a symbolic gesture that resonated deeply with the congregation, the Parish Priest performed the Washing of the Feet, a ritual reenacting Jesus’s act of humility and service towards his disciples. In a year dedicated to children, representatives, particularly children, were chosen for this sacred act.
Following the Mass, a period of Adoration was conducted, allowing attendees to engage in contemplative prayer and reflection. The Eucharistic celebration was concelebrated by Fr. Uday, Fr. Alwyn, and Fr. Gerald.
A large number of faithful participated in the service, meditating on the unconditional and faithful love of Jesus for humanity. The commemoration served as a poignant reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and his enduring message of love and service to others.
