Patriotic Spirit marks Independence Day Celebrations in Udupi District
Udupi: The 74th Independence Day was celebrated in patriotic spirit with pomp at the Mahatma Gandhi District Ground, here on Saturday, August 15.
G Jagadeesh deputy commissioner of Udupi district hoisted the national flag. She received the guard of honour from the district police force, NCC.
Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Zilla Panchayat president Dinakar Babu, Superintendent of Police N Vishnuvardha, Coastal Gaurd SP Chethan, Preethi Gehelot CEO Udupi Zilla Panchayat and others were present.
