Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Incident on National Highway 66 at Sastan

Kota: A pedestrian was fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle early Tuesday morning near the Airodi Panchayat area of Mabulka on National Highway 66. The victim, whose identity is currently unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased is estimated to be approximately 35 years of age. According to reports, the incident occurred while the man was walking along the highway. An unknown vehicle struck him, causing fatal injuries. The Kota Jeevan Mitra Ambulance team responded to the scene and transported the body to the Brahmavar mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

The Kota police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Authorities are currently working to identify the victim and gather information regarding the vehicle involved, which fled the scene immediately following the collision. Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their investigation.
