Udupi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies are futuristic, aiming integral development said BJP Industries Cell State Convener A Badrinath Kamath. He was speaking after inaugurating the convention organised by BJP District Industries Cell at the BJP office here on March 25.
The Union government is effectively promoting the small, large and medium scale industries. Youth can engage in startups and can promote employment opportunities in the country, he added.
M Somshekar Bhat said that BJP is well organised and works for the development of the country. Industries play a vital role in employment generation, the GST bill is vital in the development of Industries, he added.
Former MP Jayaprakash Hegde said that commencement of business is not important but shaping the business is very important. The money borrowed from financial institutions should be repaid with interest. These days startups are eventually started and then sold, startups should be shaped effectively to promote employment generation, he added.
BJP District President Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, Udupi Chambers of Commerce President Krishna Rao Kodancha, Uday Kumar Shetty, ZP Vice President Sheila K Shetty, Shymala Kunder, Former MLA Lalaji R Mendon and others were present.
Industries Cell President Inna Uday Kumar Shetty said that the Government of Karnataka has proposed a toll gate on the Padubidri – Karkala State Highway which will destroy the development of Industries. A memorandum will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, he added.
