Speaking to Team Mangalorean over the phone, Gibi Mohan said, ” I couldn’t come up with a better tribute than compose a sentimental poem in remembrance of the eight Angels who died in the Trasi accident. This poem is my imagination where I give life to the vehicle, since it is responsible to carry passengers safe. My poem expresses the pain of losing eight innocent children who never thought death would come to them so soon. I hope that my six minutes poem which also explains about the sad tragedy will touch the heart of the listeners. I have taken the help of my friend and a budding musician, Jestine Thomas is arranging music for my poem. Both of us are working towards a social cause to bring awareness among the people to take care and be responsible while behind a wheel of a vehicle.”

“Me and Jestine pertaining to the tragic accident wanted to bring awareness among the citizens to be responsible, so we came up with the idea of composing this poem which will remain forever in the minds of the people. The poem also incorporates social message and expresses condolence. Although it took us over a week to finalize the poem/song, but we are glad we did something good. The poem is composed not to hurt anyone nor find anyone guilty of the accident. The poem simply narrates the power of a vehicle and the value inside it. We should all realize that children are the future of the nation, and so we should care for their safety as a number one responsibility. We hope that this poem will make a difference in the society”.

Jestine Thomas

Also speaking to Team Mangalorean over the phone, Jestine Thomas, the director of JJ Digital Recording and Studio said, ” While me and Mohan wanted to do this song, our intention was not to make money after its release, but to bring awareness among the people to be responsible while they are driving/riding their vehicles, for the safety of children and adults. Although we have released the audio version of the poem, we have plans to add video to the song once we see the response from listeners. Me at the helm of a recording studio, I thought this was the best way to express my dedication to the community. At present the poem/song is available on ‘Sound Cloud’, and in the nearest future it will on ‘Facebook’ and ‘WhatsApp’. Our main intention is to see that this poem reaches to large volume of people, thereby bring a difference in the society”.
