Police look out for Shiva and Srikanth Wanted in Baliga Murder Case

Mangaluru: Search is on for two persons accused of killing RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The Police Department have released photos of two suspects, identified as Shiva (29), a resident of Panjimogeru and Srikanth (40), from Kavoor in the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

On March 21, Vinayak Baliga was hacked to death when he was on his way to the temple at 5:45 am on his two-wheeler KA 19 E 3098. After hacking Vinayak Baliga the killers fled from the spot. Vinayak was rushed to the hospital but he was declared brought dead. A case was registered in the Barke police station and investigation was on.

In this connection, Vineeth Poojary and Nishith Devadiga were arrested on March 27. In the course of investigations, it is revealed that two more persons were also involved in the murder case and the search is on for them.
