The Inspiration Behind “Preethiya Kadalu”

Johnson Dias, originally from Kasarkod, Honnavar, Karnataka, is a devout member of St Joseph’s Church. His journey in devotional music began in 2019, inspired by his deep devotion to Mother Mary and the blessings he experienced through her intercession.

He launched his YouTube channel, “Victorious Creation,” and released his first devotional audio track, “Neene Nanna Amma.” Listeners and devotees appreciated and encouraged the song.

Later, he adapted the devotional song into Konkani and continued his journey of composing Marian devotional music. Encouraged by the love and support of people, friends, and well-wishers, and inspired by his deep devotion to the Blessed Mother, Johnson went on to compose several devotional songs dedicated to Mother Mary.

Among his earlier devotional compositions are songs dedicated to the Mother of Kreupasanam, Mother of Harihar and Mother of Velankanni.
“Preethiya Kadalu” is his tenth devotional song and holds a special place in his musical journey, as it has been inspired by and dedicated specifically to Mother Mary of St. Mary’s Basilica, Shivajinagar, Bengaluru.

Sharing his inspiration behind the song, Johnson Dias said that his deep faith and devotion to Mother Mary inspired him to write the lyrics and compose this special devotional song dedicated to the Blessed Mother at St. Mary’s Basilica.

He shared that throughout the journey of writing, composing, recording and bringing the song to life, he experienced immense blessings and what he described as several miracles through the intercession of Mother Mary, both in his personal life and during the making of the project.

Johnson Dias expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and encouraged him in creating the devotional song and bringing the project to fruition.

A Song of Faith, Love and Devotion
“Preethiya Kadalu” is not merely a devotional song but a musical expression of faith, love, gratitude, and devotion to Mother Mary. The song is expected to resonate with Marian devotees and the faithful across Karnataka and beyond.

The creators of the song have humbly invited everyone to listen to and share this devotional composition with their families, friends, and loved ones so that its message of faith and devotion may reach many more hearts.

As the song continues its journey among devotees, the team hopes that “Preethiya Kadalu” will touch the hearts and souls of listeners and inspire them to experience the love, blessings, and intercession of Mother Mary.
