Protest Against Increasing Attacks by Hindutva Groups at Mysuru Bank Circle-Bengaluru on Thursday, 21 October 2021 at 11 am- Chief Minister Bommai must withdraw his statement encouraging this sectarian violence
Bengaluru: With the increasing number of attacks in the name of religion and caste and extremist groups indulging in violence, the State was expected to ensure an immediate stop to such violence and take action against such groups. Instead the Chief Minister has made a statement which justifies the goondagiri and makes it seem like its wrong for youth of different castes or religions to be friends, to fall in love.
At a time when Dalits and Muslims are being murdered for falling in love, its shocking that the CM chose to support such violence.
Various organizations including Muslim organisations, Dalit organizations, Christian organization, Women organizations and civil Liberties organizatiobs have come together to protest against the statement of the Chief Minister on 21st October 2021. The protest will be held simultaneously across the State. In Bengaluru we will protest at Maurya Circle, next to the race course.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WE WILL NOT ALLOW KARNATAKA TO BECOME A LAND OF HATE AND VIOLENCE
The CM must take action against the Hindutva Outfits.
We request you to join in this protest and raise your voice to uphold the Constitution.
Please be there by 11am on Thursday, October 21, Mysuru Bank Circle, Bengaluru
