Rahul Ratnam Pandey Appointed New Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner
Mangaluru: The Karnataka Government appointed a new Commissioner for the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) as part of a statewide administrative reshuffle.
Rahul Ratnam Pandey, a 2018-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Commissioner of the Mangaluru City Corporation with immediate effect.
Before this appointment, Pandey served as the Managing Director of the Karnataka State Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (KSMSCL).
He succeeds Ravichandra Nayak (KAS), who has been transferred as part of the latest administrative changes. The Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) has issued orders implementing the transfer and appointment with immediate effect.
With the new Commissioner’s appointment, expectations are high that the implementation of civic amenities, infrastructure development, sanitation initiatives, monsoon management, and various urban development projects in Mangaluru will gain renewed momentum.
