RGUHS Mangalore Zone Cricket Tournament 2025–26 Concludes with Valedictory Ceremony

Mangalore: The valedictory ceremony of the RGUHS Mangalore Zone Intercollegiate Cricket Tournament 2025–26, hosted by Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, was held on 20th October 2025 at 2p.m. The tournament, conducted from 17th to 20th October 2025, witnessed enthusiastic participation and remarkable performances from various medical colleges under the Mangalore Zone.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by several dignitaries. Among them were Dr Sebastian P. A, Associate Professor, Department of Organon of Medicine; Dr Jeeno Jose, Sports Coordinator; Dr Manish Tiwari, Sports Co-coordinator; Dr Ancy George, Cultural Co-coordinator; Mr Chandrashekara S. N., Mangalore Zone Coordinator and Physical Education Director, Father Muller Medical College; and Mr Chennakeshava M. G., Physical Education Director, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.

The dignitaries congratulated all participating teams for their sportsmanship, discipline, and dedication. They also appreciated the organizing committee, volunteers, and students for their wholehearted support and the smooth conduct of the event.

Following the formal addresses, the trophies and individual awards were distributed to the winners and outstanding performers.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

  • Winners: AJ Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre
  • Runner-up: Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Third Place: Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Fourth Place: KVG Medical College, Sullia

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

  • Best Bowler: Sangam, Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Best Batsman: Ayush Varma, KVG Medical College, Sullia
  • Man of the Match: Kushal, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences

The valedictory programme was compered by Ms. Pushpitha and Ms Neha Pais, who ensured a smooth and engaging flow of the proceedings.

The ceremony concluded with the institutional anthem, marking the successful end of the RGUHS Mangalore Zone Cricket Tournament 2025–26, hosted with great enthusiasm and team spirit by Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte.
