Sacred Hearts’ Higher Primary School Hosts Successful Science Model Exhibition

Mangalore: Sacred Hearts’ Higher Primary School, Kulshekar, held its highly anticipated Science Model Exhibition on February 25, 2026, showcasing the scientific acumen and inventive spirit of its students. The event, centered around the theme “Where Curiosity Meets Creativity,” took place in the KG Auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

 The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Rev Sr Shalet, Provincial Councillor, whose presence underscored the institution’s commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and innovation among its young learners. Rev Sr Cicilia Mendonca, Correspondent, Rev Sr Rita Sharal, Headmistress, and other esteemed dignitaries also graced the occasion.

The program commenced with a solemn prayer song, setting a tone of reverence and dedication. Following the invocation, a cordial welcome address was extended to all attendees, offering a warm reception. The highlight of the exhibition was undoubtedly the presentation of innovative science models by the students. With demonstrable enthusiasm and clarity, the young scientists elucidated the underlying concepts of their creations, impressing both the judges and the audience with their grasp of scientific principles.

The Chief Guest lauded the students for their ingenuity, creativity, and evident scientific thinking. The exhibits displayed a wide range of scientific concepts, reflecting the students’ diverse interests and their ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical demonstrations.

A panel of judges meticulously evaluated the exhibits based on criteria such as originality, clarity of explanation, and scientific accuracy. Following the evaluation, prizes were awarded to the top exhibits, recognizing the outstanding efforts of the students. First, Second, and Third places were conferred upon the most exceptional models, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the winning teams.

The program culminated with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the exhibition’s success. The Science Model Exhibition at Sacred Hearts’ Higher Primary School proved to be a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their scientific talents and fostering a spirit of inquiry and innovation within the school community. The event served as a testament to the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in the field of science and beyond.
