Safety Instructions from Police Department for Organizers during Ganeshotsava
Mangaluru: The Ganesh Pendal Organizers should follow the following safety instructions during Ganeshotsava.
The organizers should install fire safety at the venue. They should take permission for the venue and also for electricity. All the public programmes should be closed by 10:00 pm.
Bursting fire crackers and loud noise near hospitals and schools should be avoided. During the procession, there should be sufficient lighting and barricades. During the immersion of the Ganesha Idol, the organizers should arrange to have standby swimmers for rescue operations if needed. The organizers can contact the MCC for necessary arrangements.
The public should not be affected during the procession of the tableaus. The procession should take the minimum time to reach the immersion place to avoid inconvenience to the public. The organizers should also deploy volunteers at the installation place during the night for any emergency.
