Sahyadri College Announces Synergia’ 25, a National Innovation Platform

Mangalore: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management is set to host Synergia’ 25, a National-level event powered by SHINE Foundation, from November 6th to 8th, 2025. This flagship initiative serves as a multi-layered platform designed to unite students from grades 8 through 12 and into engineering programs, fostering the development of innovative solutions to societal challenges through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for November 6th, 2025, will feature prominent figures from both academia and industry. Mr. Allan Bech, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of EGDK, and Ms. Tina Bodin, Head of Human Resources at EGDK, will serve as the Chief Guests. The grand finale and award ceremony will take place on November 8th, 2025, with distinguished leaders and industry experts in attendance.
Synergia’ 25 is anticipated to attract over 20,000 students from more than 425 institutions. The three-day event will encompass four major components:
  • Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt (SSTH): The 12th edition of SSTH will provide a platform for school and pre-university students to present innovative solutions to community-driven regional challenges. Selected students will receive seed grants totaling ₹2,00,000/-, along with on-campus mentorship and access to Sahyadri’s innovation infrastructure to develop their ideas into Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Devhost: The 8th edition of Devhost, sponsored by EG, is a 36-hour National-level Hackathon hosted by the Sahyadri Open-Source Community (SOSC). This technical event includes developer talks, masterclasses, and workshops led by industry experts, along with technical competitions.
  • Aerophilia: This National-level Aero-tech fest, conducted by Team Challengers, is a two-day celebration of innovation. It will feature aeromodelling showcases, drone racing, RC flying, air shows, gaming competitions, and interactive workshops, all designed to spark curiosity and passion in emerging technologies.
  • Sahyadri Robotics Club (SRC) Challenges: The SRC will host several engaging robotics challenges, including robo soccer, sumo, and autonomous navigation events, offering students a chance to display their skills in mechanics, control systems, and automation.
Synergia has historically served as a catalyst for young innovators, inspiring numerous regional start-ups. Notable success stories from the Sahyadri incubation ecosystem include the STEM toy brand Dreamkit.cc, the assistive technology venture Prafal, and the deep-tech audio start-up Sonic Lamb.
Synergia’ 25 is open to students, educators, enthusiasts, and the general public. Spot registration will be available for interested participants. Sahyadri College welcomes industry leaders to collaborate and support this event, fostering the development of future changemakers.
