Sale of Banned Tablets, DCD Cancels License of PK Health Cure
Mangaluru: The Drugs Control Department has ordered the cancellation of the license of P K Health Cure Medicals for selling tablets without prescriptions on September 3.
On July 18, police from Urwa and East police stations along with the Drugs Control Department raided the P K Health Cure Medical Shop near PVS Circle and seized the banned tablets.
The Drugs Control Department had filed a case against the owner of the medical shop. During their investigation, the DCD found that the shop owner had violated the rules of the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940 and 1945.
The DCD issued an order on August 31 to cancel the license of P K Health Cure Medicals.
