Salman Khan – The Enigmatic Star
Back in the eighties, nobody knew that Sallu Bhaiyya will become such a big star today. A small cameo in Rekha starrer ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ was his entry to Bollywood. Then came some years later “Maine Pyaar Kiya” and the Salman started tasting stardom. He went on to do movies with Raveena, Twinkle Khanna, Karishma Kapoor and the rest. But, the biggest fame came with Prabhudeva directed “Wanted” which was a remake of Tamil hit” Pokiri”!
The struggle was good. Salman, being an eccentric enigma was always into picking up fights, getting into brawls etc. Before his “Wanted” movie he starred in SLB’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuken Sanam”. Which starred his then flame ‘Aishwarya Rai’. He was head over heels in love with her. Ash, thought she can change Sallu. But, Sallu was crazy and childish. The movie was a hit!
But, Sallu was always fighting with Ash and even went to her house and vandalized the area. Police were called. This was the last of Sallu- Ash romance. It was talked about in some circles that, Sallu went and slapped Subhash Ghai, who was directing Ash in ‘Taal’. He had some doubts on Ash and suspected her demeanour. Salim Khan dragged Sallu out of the House and took him to Ghai’s office and made him apologize for his indecent act!
Post wanted movie, Salman starred in many blockbusters. Dabangg 1 & 2,Partner, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger & Tiger Zinda hai, Jai Ho, Bhajrangi Bhaijaan and many more. He is perfectly ensconced in the 200 to 300 Crores club. Now, Dabangg 3 will also make history.
What makes Salman such as special superstar?
His connect with the masses? His down to earth persona? Yes!!Indeed!
His kind heart, which launches and gives chances to many newcomers., Katrina kaif, Zareen Khan, Daisy Shah, Sunil Grover, the list is endless. Even The Kapil Sharma show is produced by him.
He is the face of Big Boss. The audience likes him. He gave the chance for Sonakshi to debut in his film “Dabangg” and her career started in Bollywood with a bang! Only to make Govinda miffed, that he did not launch his daughter Narmada!

Salman has again launched the career of Saiee Manjrekar in ‘Dabangg 3’. She is the daughter of renowned Marathi and Hindi Director, Mahesh Manjrekar. He has booked he ate of 20 December, planning to coincide with Christmas holidays. The film, as per the pre-release review, is going to be a massive hit. It’s a prequel to other two previous movies of the same name. The launchpad for saiee is apt. The lass will go long place.
She has oodles of talent and has support in the Industry. Sallu only tasted a flop with his “Tube light”! Otherwise, all his films have done well since at least a decade. The bachelor actor has been in news for all the wrong reasons. H is the face of Big Boss and goes on firing the inmates in his inimitable style.
The eccentricity can be seen, when he cycles around in Bandra in the wee hours of morning. He is trailed by his bodyguards in his Mercedes. Salim Khan, is a very exceptional talented Bollywood writer. He has fathered a son, who is ruling the roost in the Bollywood film industry.
Surprisingly, He has no competition. He himself pens the script. For Dabangg 3, He himself wielded the pen. He has helped his unsuccessful sibling Arbaaz always. This time also, he is the producer. The directorial honours are given to Prabhu deva.
