Sankeerth Sadananda secures all-India rank 4 in NEET

Bengaluru (TOI): This comes as the best birthday gift ever for Sankeerth Sadananda’s father Sadanand Poojary, as Sankeerth was declared AIR 4 rank holder in NEET results on Friday. “He did it, and I could not have got the best gift ever than this. I am a proud father today,” said excited Sadananda Poojary.

Sankeerth was CET (Common entrance test) 2017 topper in Karnataka. He secured second rank in BSc (Agriculture) and 19th in engineering. But he was adamant and sure in heart that he will be able to make it to AIIMS and NEET with flying colours and decided to drop the CET seat. He secured AIR 27 in AIIMS examination.

He secured 99.9% in AIIMS and 692 out of 720 in NEET results.

“Both NEET and AIIMS were equally important to me. I expected a good rank but Rank 4 is just unimaginable. Now between two, I hope AIIMS would be the priority as I am aiming for AIIMS Delhi, then only I will decide for NEET if required,” said Sankeerth.
