Dammam: The SAB Warriors team grabbed the Dammam Social Forum Cup sponsored by Saleh Ayed Balharith Est. in the Knockout Cricket Tournament held by the Indian Social Forum Dammam and Khobar Branch. Khobar United stumbled to be in the Runners Up against SAB Warriors in the Final Match.Salman of SAB Warriors was declared Man of the Series for his overall performance throughout the tournament. Rajesh of Master CC took the Best Batsman award while Nazeer of SAB Warriors was awarded as Best Bowler of the Tournament.

The Knockout Tournament was held in SABSA Ground of Rakha, Al-Khobar in which 18 leading teams from Dammam and Khobar participated. Earlier in the morning, Mohammad Sharief, the Indian Social Forum State President, inaugurated the tournament by delivering the ball to Salman Sallahuddin, CEO of Saleh Ayed Balharith.
The closing ceremony of the tournament was held in the evening, in whichWasim Sadiq Ali, the Central Committee President of ISF, said that Indian Social Forum has succeeded in spreading sovereignty among Indian expatriates through sports. Indian expatriates must be involved in political affairs and empowerment of India too, he added.
The guest among the dais were Salman Sallahuddin, Jabir Ahmad Al-Musaad, Hussain Al Ghannam, Imran Karkala from Eastern Arabia, Mohammad Sharief (State Committee President of Indian Social Forum),Ashraf (Regional Secretary of India Fraternity Forum), MohammadAshraf (Gen. Secretary of India Fraternity Forum), Farooq (Indian Social ForumKerala State President), Abdul Wahid (Andra-Telangana Indian Social Forum State President), Muhammed Wahid Kundapur (President of JamiyyathulFalah), Sharief Karkala (Vice President of Hidaya Foundation), SamsheerMulky (President of DKSC Dammam), Adv. Abdul Basheer (President ofMalnad Gulf Association), Samsheer of Karkala Association, Sameer (President of Helpy Organization) and Mushtaq Ahmad of SDPI D.K. district.
Abdul Nasir, President of Indian Social Forum, Khobar welcomed the gathering while Imran, State Secretary of Indian Social Forum, delivered the vote of thanks. Azharuddin coordinated the programme. The ceremony began with the Unity Song and concluded with the National Anthem.
Mementos were distributed to major sponsors as token of appreciation for their continuous support to community welfare service. A raffle draw was held and prizes were given to the lucky winners.
