Shirva: Youth Dies by Suicide After Leaving Death Note

Udupi: A young man working in the catering sector allegedly died by suicide after leaving behind a death note. The incident occurred near the Salmara Catering Shed at Shankarpura in Shirva.

The deceased has been identified as Gautham Poojary. His body was found in a room near the Salmara catering shed where he had been staying.

According to reports, he had written a death note before taking the extreme step. However, the exact reason for his death is yet to be ascertained. Gautham was unmarried and was working as a chief cook in a catering unit.

It is said that Gautham was friendly with everyone and was actively involved in various local organisations.

Police from Shirva Police Station visited the spot and have registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
