St Aloysius Hosts Grand Aloysian Alumni Reunion 2026
Mangalore: St Aloysius High School Grounds were abuzz with nostalgia and camaraderie recently, as the institution hosted its annual Aloysian Alumni Reunion. The event, a vibrant blend of music, dance, games, and a lavish dinner, served as a poignant reminder of cherished memories and enduring bonds forged within the school’s hallowed halls.

This year’s reunion held particular significance as St Aloysius College, with its distinguished 147-year legacy, progresses towards its sesquicentennial jubilee in 2030. The atmosphere was thick with reminiscence as alumni, spanning generations, reconnected with former classmates, recounting hostel anecdotes, sharing lighthearted stories of youthful escapades, and seamlessly resuming conversations as if time had stood still. The opportunity to reconvene at their alma mater, an institution renowned for imparting life lessons beyond the curriculum, proved to be a profoundly unique and memorable experience for all in attendance.
The gathering, exceeding 500 individuals, included alumni and their families, both retired and current faculty members, Jesuit Fathers, valued friends, benefactors, and sponsors. Mr. Edmund Frank, the event’s convener, extended a warm welcome to all present, setting the tone for an evening of shared memories and renewed connections. Mr. Anil Kumar, President of the St Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA), addressed the assembly, highlighting the association’s ongoing efforts to support the institution and foster a strong alumni network.
Rev. Fr. Melwin Pinto, Rector of St Aloysius College, delivered the Presidential address, outlining the institution’s ambitious expansion plans aimed at further enhancing its academic offerings and infrastructure.
