Los Angeles, March 26 (IANS) Singer Selena Gomez says “Bad blood” hitmaker Taylor Swift has been extremely supportive of her career and has always stood by her no matter what.

The 23-year-old singer has praised her close pal — who she has been friends with since she was 13 — for always being there for her in good and bad times and for being supportive of her career, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The “Out of the woods” hitmaker has always encouraged the “Good for you” star to be herself and not be afraid to tell her story and be “proud” of it, which is something Gomez admits she was “hesitant” about when she first met her best friend.

Speaking on ITV’s show “Lorraine” on Friday, Gomez said: “I mean I’ve known her for ten years… She’s been one of my best friends through thick and thin, walked by my side. Her whole family has been so supportive of me, and yeah, she’s been there during crucial points in my life and in my career.”

“She’s known for embracing her personal story and creating a beautiful thing out of it and I was a little hesitant with that and she was always the person to encourage me to tell my story and be proud of who I am,” Gomez added.

Robbie Williams’s wife wants more kids

Los Angeles, March 26 (IANS) American TV actress Ayda Field, who is married to singer Robbie Williams, says she wants more children.

The couple, who have children Teddy, three, and Charlton, 17 months, together are hoping to add to their family in future,” reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“We’d love more children,” Grazia magazine quoted Field as saying.

Williams regularly serenades his daughter with her favourite singer Beyonce’s songs and they are both “totally hands-on” parents.

“We’re both totally hands on. Rob changes nappies, makes food, sings Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ 200 times on demand from Teddy. You don’t have time to worry about yourself any more, you actually realise how happy it makes you,” the 36-year-old said.

Despite their fame, the pair insists that they lead a very quiet life together when they’re not working.

“If Rob is touring, we’ll go with him and since I’ve been working, everyone comes with me. I love that we go everywhere together. But at home our lives are very regular. We take Teddy to school, we cook, we have family nights in and we watch a lot of TV,” she said.

Netflix caps video streams on wireless networks

Los Angeles, March 26 (IANS) streaming service Netflix has enforced a maximum limit on the quality of video streamed over other wireless networks for years, the company admitted on Friday.

Netflix also shared that its working on a way to give users control over how much bandwidth they wish to use to access the service, reports variety.com.

The company said that its default bit rate for viewing over mobile networks has been capped at 600 kilobits per second. That’s “in an effort to protect our members from overage charges when they exceed mobile-data caps,” according to a Netflix spokeswoman.

Netflix’s 600-Kbps limit for mobile video has been in place for more than five years, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal. The company caps video streams on mobile networks, except for those which do not charge overage fees for exceeding data-usage limits.

Heidi Klum keeps her shoes for her children to inherit

Los Angeles, March 26 (IANS) Supermodel Heidi Klum says that she keeps all her old footwear, still in boxes for her daughters to inherit when they get older.

The 42-year-old who landed her first modelling contract after winning the ‘Model 92’ contest in 1992 in Germany says she keeps all her old footwear for her two daughters, Leni, 11, and Lou, six, to wear when they are older but only if they can grow into them, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Well, I’m a hoarder, but I have two girls so I feel like I have an excuse. I have all my shoes in boxes, all photographed on the front, so I’m a hoarder but I’m an organised hoarder,” Vogue magazine quoted Klum as saying.

“I wear a size 41 so my girls are hoping for big feet. They’ll say, ‘Oh but your feet are big mum,’ but I tell them, ‘Who knows, let’s see what’s gonna happen’,” she said.

Adding that there are more accessories to inherit for her sons Henry, 10, and Johan, nine, with ex-husband Seal, the supermodel says that she has sunglasses, belts, bags and dresses as well which could be their heirlooms.
