Tibetan Spiritual Leader Dalai Lama Receives Rousing Welcome in Mangaluru
Mangaluru: Tibetan Spiritual leader Dalai Lama received a rousing welcome at the Mangaluru International Airport, Kenjar here on August 29.
Dalai Lama landed at the Mangaluru International Airport Kenjar on August 29 at 12:20 pm. At the airport, he was welcomed by the DCP law and order Arunagshu and DCP crime and traffic Lakshmi Ganesh. Later the Tibetan students welcomed him with a traditional dance.
There was heavy security for Dalai Lama, he was brought to the city with zero traffic. Dalai Lama will remain in the city until August 31.
On August 30, Dalai Lama will take part in the national convention of All India Catholic Schools Association which will be held at the Father Muller Convention Centre.
Dalai Lama will stay in Mangaluru for two days and on August 31 morning at 7:00 am he will fly to Bengaluru.
