Trays found in Sindhudurg’ belong to missing Suvarna Tribhuja Boat – SP Laxman Nimbaragi

Udupi: Udupi District Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi said on Monday, December 7 that some trays with the letters “ST” etched on them were found on the beaches of Sindhudurg district in Maharastra, where confirmed to be from the missing Suvarna Tribhuja Boat.

It was confirmed by the brothers of the missing fishermen and the Malpe fishermen who had gone to Sindhudurg district in Maharastra with the police team. The two police teams are investigating the findings with the local police, he said.

Until now we have not received any clues of the missing boat. We have sent the information to the Coast Gaurd, Navy and the Satellite center Hyderabad. The search operations are on and anything concrete in this matter could be said only after the investigation was completed by the Sindhudurg district police, said SP.
