Two-Day PGCET Training held at Sahyadri College

Mangaluru: PGCET Training Programme organized by Department of Business Administration – Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangalore. During the Inaugural programme of Two-Day PGCET Training, Dr Vishal Samartha, Director, Department of Business Administration welcomed the gathering and gave a brief of our institution and the department. Prof. Sushma V, Faculty co-ordinator of the programme shared the relevance of conducting this training. Dr. Umesh M Bhushi, Principal, encouraged the participants to consider the training as learning for life and enjoy the learning process. Sessions were held on four areas of PGCET – Quantitative Analysis, Reasoning and General Intelligence, General Knowledge & Proficiency in English Grammar.

The programme had participation from MBA Aspirants in huge numbers who aimed to achieve good ranking in the PGCET that would be held on July 2nd 2017 and thereby get MBA admission in Top B-Schools of Karnataka under Government Quota.

During the two days of training, participants were trained on four subjects of PGCET facilitated by the in-house faculty namely, Dr. Vidyavathi, Prof. Raghavendra Prabhu, Prof. Mithun Ullal, Prof. Gayathri Shetty & Prof. Prajwala Rodrigues. Vivekanand Kamath, Director, V-Reach Coaching Academy, Udupi was also one of the facilitators. Participants even wrote Mock PGCET which was evaluated and ranked. Top scorers in the Mock test were appreciated and awarded during the Valedictory Ceremony by the Chairman, Manjunath Bhandary.
