Two Die in Hit-and-run Case, Comedian YouTuber Arpith arrested
Mangaluru: In a hit-and-run case, a comedian has been arrested by the Mangalore North Traffic Police on February 4.
The arrested has been identified as Arpith Indravadhan (35), from Indira Nagar having a Youtube page “Mad in Kudla”.
According to the police, on Tuesday a Truck was heading towards Kerala from Madhya Pradesh on the National Highway. In Padupanambur, the truck had a flat tyre. All the occupants of the truck got down to replace the punctured tyre. While they were replacing the tyre, Arpith’s car which was moving from Udupi towards Mangaluru hit them.
Babulu (23) and Achal Singh (30) from Madhya Pradesh were killed on the spot and Anish (42) was seriously injured in the incident.
After the incident, Arpith fled from the spot. The Mulky police were searching for the accused and on February 4 arrested Arpith. He was later released on station bail.
