Two men arrested for alleged rape of Young girl in Manipal
Udupi: The Manipal Police on Tuesday, March 26 arrested two persons for allegedly taking a girl to a lodge and raping her.
The arrested have been identified as Jagadish Bovi (24) resident of Maranakatte and Ganesh Mallya (26) resident of Perdoor.
As per the complaint, the accused took the young girl forcibly to a lodge in Manipal and raped her. The girl was admitted to the hospital after the incident.
The accused were produced before the court and sent to 14 days judicial custody.
A case has been registered in the Manipal Police Station.
