Bhaskar Shetty one among the protesters said that the proposed plan of construction is different with the actual construction. National Highway Authority of India in their approved plan has proposed a underpass and over bridge in Kinnimulky. The NHAI later altered the plan and did not construct the underpass at Ambalpady. The EO of National Highway Authority of India is not responding to the problems of the people, he added.

Protesters say that the Ambalpady junction connects Kadekaru – Kediyoor – Kuthpadi – Sampigenar – Kalmadi – Bankerakatte and Bramhagiri. If the underpass is not constructed, it will becomes a major hurdle. Students, employees and devotees will face problems.

The officials of NHAI and engineers of Navayug Company later pacified the protesters and the protest was called off.

Uday Kumar Shetty State BJP member, Shantharaj Aithal, Althaf Ahamed, Vishu Shetty, Vasanthi Shetty, Prakash Kodavoor, Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor and others were present.
