Udupi Schools to Remain Closed on June 13 Due to Heavy Rainfall

Udupi:  In response to the persistent heavy rainfall impacting the Udupi district, a holiday has been declared for all Anganwadi centers and primary and secondary schools within the district for tomorrow, June 13.

The order, issued by District Commissioner Dr. K. Vidyakumari, applies to all government, aided, and private educational institutions at these levels. This decision follows a red alert declaration for the district, prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.

While Anganwadis and schools will remain closed, pre-university colleges, degree colleges, postgraduate courses, diploma programs, engineering colleges, and ITI institutions will continue to operate as scheduled.
