His presentation drew considerable attention for its innovative approach, clarity, and simplicity. He demonstrated how complex commerce concepts could be explained easily using practical examples from everyday life. His ability to simplify technical subjects impressed visitors and generated considerable interest among students and the general public.

The teaching aids presented by Rao covered four important areas of commerce education: Start-up Business, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Emerging Modes of Business, and Final Accounts.

A major highlight was his detailed presentation on the revised GST structure, covering the new tax slabs, changes in tax rates, and the benefits arising from these revisions. Using simple and familiar examples, he explained how changes in GST rates could benefit consumers and businesses. By presenting these widely discussed economic developments in an accessible manner, he helped visitors understand their practical implications.

Under the topic of Emerging Modes of Business, Rao explained various business models, including B2B (Business to Business), B2C (Business to Consumer), Intra-Business, B2G (Business to Government), and C2C (Consumer to Consumer). He also highlighted modern digital payment systems, their different methods, growing significance, and advantages in today’s business environment.

Topics relating to international trade, particularly imports and exports, were also explained through practical illustrations. By connecting textbook concepts with contemporary business practices, his presentation made the subjects more interesting and relevant to everyday life. The simple explanations and effective demonstrations attracted visitors and sparked curiosity among students.

Rao’s extensive teaching experience and in-depth subject knowledge were instrumental in developing and presenting innovative teaching aids. Over the years, he has gained considerable expertise in understanding students’ learning needs and explaining even complicated concepts in a simple and effective manner. This experience was evident in the quality, organisation, and practical relevance of his presentation. His ability to combine subject knowledge with creativity and practical demonstrations was a notable feature of his entry.

He has actively participated in teaching aid preparation competitions for several years, developing numerous innovative educational models and learning materials. His sustained efforts have earned him several prizes at the sub-district, district, and state levels, including recognition in state-level competitions. His continued participation reflects his enthusiasm for educational innovation and commitment to making classroom learning more effective, engaging, and student-friendly.

Apart from his teaching profession, Rao is also a writer and author associated with Mangalorean.com. His latest achievement at the Kannur Revenue District School Science Festival is another recognition of his dedication to teaching and his commitment to innovative education.
