Walkathon & Counselling Awareness Week by ‘You Matter Counselling & Training Centre’, Mangaluru from 5th March to 11th March 2023. FREE workshops on Mindfulness, Addiction and Cyber Safety, Effective Parenting, Self Esteem, Healthy Relationships, and issues in Counselling topics during the Counselling Awareness Week

Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, Steevan D’Souza N, the Trustee & Youth Counsellor at ‘You Matter Counselling & Training Centre’ Mangaluru said, ” You Matter Counselling & Training Centre Mangalore on its First Anniversary is organizing a walkathon and weeklong awareness programme for the general public. A walkathon on 5th March 2023, 3.30 pm, from St Agnes College entrance to Kadri Park followed by a formal Inaugural event at Kadri Park, from 5 pm to 6 pm, with a street play emphasizing the significance of counselling”.

” The Walkathon will be flagged off by Fr Melwin Pinto Sj-Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Mangaluru and Sr Dr Venissa AC-the Principal of St Agnes College, Mangaluru, joined by other dignitaries. The Awareness Programme for the general public regarding counselling from 6th March to 10th March 2023 and Free Counselling Workshops will be held at Milagres Church Hall, Hampankatta, Mangaluru from 6th to 10th March, from 5 pm to 7 pm. The Free workshops will be delivered by various resource persons on Mindfulness, Addiction and Cyber Safety, Effective Parenting, Self Esteem, Healthy Relationships, and issues in Counselling topics will be dealt with during the workshops. The Valedictory program will be on 11th March at University College, Hampankatta at 5.30 pm.” added Steevan.
