Watch Indian Premier League (IPL) Qualifier 1 Match between Gujarath Lions and Royal Challengers-Bengaluru on a 32 ft x 18 ft Mega LED Screen at IPL Fan Park, set up at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru on Tuesday 24 May 2016. Among 34 cities selected for this IPL Fan Park event, Mangaluru is one of the lucky one. Fan Park opens at 6 pm till the match ends at 11.30 pm. Free admission. Lots of games, quiz and lots of prizes prior to the game and during game.

Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Manohar Amin-convener for Karnataka State Cricket Association, Mangaluru Zone said, ” Mangaloreans will have an opportunity to watch the IPL Qualifier 1 Match between Gujarath Lions and Royal Challengers-Bengaluru on Tuesday, 24 May 2016 at a special IPL Fan Park set up at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru. This unique vewnture has been organized by BCCI in association with DNA promoters and Karnataka State Cricket Association. IPL fan park is for the cricket fans who cannot watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 matches live at stadiums across various venues, here is an opportunity to catch the action free of cost. IPL Fan Park venue will be opened from 5 pm to 11.30 pm on Tuesday 24 th May 2016″

“IPL Fan Park initiates in giving the fans living far away from the live action relive the excitement and atmosphere that comes with watching an IPL match with friends and family in a public location. The Fan park is a BCCI property which is done to boost the games popularity across all cities in India and a reach out to almost all the fans situated in different parts of the country.This year BCCI have selected 34 cities across India and four cities in Karnataka which are Hubli, Belgaum, Mangaluru and Mysore” added Amin.

Also speaking during the press meet, Imitiyaz Ahmed representing KSCA said, “During the past days over 10,000 + fans in each of these cities had a stadium-like experience on the weekdays/weekends throughout the tournament as the matches were made available on giant screens. Entry will be free and on a first-come-first-serve basis. With access to paid food and beverage stalls and music the fans will be able to feel like they are in the stadium. There will be a live feed shown on Set max of the fan park during the live game. There is a lucky draw coupon where the fans get to win a signed jersey, Vivo phone and signed bat, 2 winners per day; 2 canters are touring the city and spreading awareness and distributing the coupons.There will be game stalls, sponsor stalls, VIP box etc- and prior to start of the IPL game, there will be games, quiz etc.”
