  1. Unlike in India, both West Indies and England don’t worship cricket alone – They have other popular sports as well (Football, Basketball). We, Indians, are like a cricket cult throwing enormous amount of money, time and resources at this sport, worshiping the cricket players as if they are a special breed of humans. In reality, we have failed to produce a top-class talent even after all this hype and promotion. Even a tiny Bangladesh can upset us. What a sad situation!!
