Woman Killed while Crossing Road at Brahmavar
Udupi: A woman died after a fish carrying tempo hit her while crossing the road near the Brahmavar Bus stand here on September 22.
The deceased has been identified as Geetha wife of Subramanya a resident of Hangarcutta.
According to the initial report, Geetha along with her husband and child were on their way to Buntara Bhavana, Brahmavar. As they were crossing the NH 66, a fish carrying tempo coming from Udupi hit Geetha, Geetha died on the spot. Geetha’s husband and Child escaped unhurt.
Brahmavar Police reached the spot and are investigating.
