Woman, Three-Year-Old Son go Missing Near Old KSRTC Bus Stand in Udupi

Udupi: A 29-year-old woman and her three-year-old son have gone missing near the old KSRTC bus stand in Udupi. A complaint has been lodged at the Udupi Town Police Station.

The missing woman has been identified as Kavya (29), a native of Nashik, and her son, Shivansh.

According to the police, Kavya and her son were brought to Udupi by relatives on the morning of October 23 to be dropped off at the house of her husband, Yathishwar, in Mense.

They reached Udupi at around 8.30 a.m. and travelled by autorickshaw to the old KSRTC bus stand, where they unloaded their luggage and waited. Kavya reportedly declined tea and breakfast and asked the others to eat.

When the relatives returned from a nearby hotel at around 9:15 a.m., they found that Kavya and the child were missing. Despite searching the surrounding areas, they could not trace them and subsequently approached the police.

The police have registered a case and initiated efforts to trace the woman and her son.

Kavya is approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall, with a dark complexion, black hair, and a medium build. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a yellow floral-print top and blue jeans. She speaks Kannada, Hindi, Tulu and Marathi.

Anyone with information about Kavya or her son Shivansh is requested to contact Udupi Town Police Station at 0820-2520444, Udupi Police Control Room at 0820-2526444, the Police Inspector at 9480805408, or the Police Sub-Inspector at 9080805445.
