Work for a Cause not Applause – ICYM Shirthady Unit Fills Potholes
Udupi: ICYM Shirthady Unit conducted a Shramadan Campaign to repair the road and fill the potholes at Shirthady – Kashipatna Road on 8th July 2018.
ICYM members and parishioners joined to fill the potholes and edges of the road which had been left neglected by responsible authorities for over four years. Both sides of the road were cleaned during the Shramadan Campaign.
The Parish Priest Fr Francis Crasta; Parish Council Vice President, Wilfred Pinto; ICYM Animator, Harry D’Silva; ICYM President, Chintan Lobo Shirthady were present. Around 20 youth and few parishioners selflessly rendered their service and made it a successful event. This made travel easier and safer for the people.
