Young Entrepreneur in Malpe Commits Suicide after Loss in Business
Udupi: A young entrepreneur in Malpe committed suicide by hanging himself, after facing los in business on June 10.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagyaraj, a resident of Thottam.
According to sources, Bhagyaraj had started fishing business after purchasing a boat with bank loan. Due to the lockdown he suffered a loss in the fishing business and he was unable to repay the loan.
Being under severe pressure and depression, on June 10, he went to the Malpe port and hanged himself in a anchored boat.
Malpe Police visited the spot and collected all necessary information for further investigations.
