Bellevision Bahrain Inducts New Executive Committee for 2026

Juffair, Bahrain: Bellevision Bahrain commenced its 16th year with the formal induction of its new Executive Committee for 2026. The ceremony, held on the evening of February 12th at The Olive Hotel in Juffair, was themed around Valentine’s Day, with attendees embracing the festive spirit through vibrant red attire. The event drew a significant number of members and supporters, marking a proud milestone for the organization.

The evening’s proceedings were initiated by MC Adeline, who set a lively and engaging tone with her characteristic humor. An opening prayer, led by the Vinod and Praveen families, invoked blessings upon the gathering. Subsequently, Raymond Kishore D’Souza introduced the incoming Executive Committee members, who then formally participated in the induction ceremony.

In a symbolic transfer of leadership, outgoing President Arun Castelino inducted the new President, Ivan Sequeira, by pinning the presidential badge. President Sequeira then inducted the remaining committee members. Each member formally acknowledged their role by affixing their photograph and designation to a designated display board. The occasion was further celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony; the cake was prepared by Naveen Mendonca and served to all attendees.

In his inaugural presidential address, Ivan Sequeira extended a warm welcome to all present and expressed his sincere gratitude for the continued support extended to Bellevision Bahrain. The outgoing 2025 committee was recognized and felicitated with mementos in appreciation of their dedicated service. Furthermore, well-wishers in attendance received floral plants as a token of appreciation. Vice President Rony Pinto delivered the vote of thanks, formally acknowledging the contributions of all involved.

The evening also featured a vibrant entertainment segment, including melodious songs performed by Riva Pinto, Vinod Saldanha, and Nezline D’Souza. Eliana Alva captivated the audience with a spirited dance performance to a Konkani song. MC Adeline orchestrated a series of engaging games for both children and adults, ensuring active participation from all. A special group performance by Fiona, Vinith, Joyce, Wilroy, Velantino, Ashish, Preetham, Warren, Vinod, and Nezline proved to be a highlight of the evening. February birthday and anniversary celebrants were invited to partake in a special cake-cutting ceremony on stage. Attendees were also treated to packed cakes, sponsored by Mr. Xavier Mathias.

Alfreeda and Preeti efficiently managed the registration desk, while Ronald Fernandes provided comprehensive photographic coverage of the event. DJ Alwyn ensured a lively atmosphere with music throughout the evening. Guests enjoyed a delightful culinary experience courtesy of The Olive Hotel, Juffair. The celebration culminated in a spirited Baila dance, uniting everyone on the dance floor in a display of camaraderie and joy.

The induction ceremony successfully blended celebration, fellowship, and tradition, setting a positive trajectory for the year ahead under the leadership of the new Executive Committee of Bellevision Bahrain.
