ED, IT and CBI Are Like BJP’s Yuva Morcha and ABVP: Minister Rizwan Arshad

Udupi: “The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax (IT) Department and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are like the BJP’s Yuva Morcha and ABVP. They keep conducting raids,” said Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rizwan Arshad.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday regarding the ED search at the residence of Public Works Department Minister Satish Jarkiholi, Arshad alleged that “these three agencies are working according to a plan to put certain people under pressure, weaken them or help the BJP win.”

Reacting to the padayatra undertaken by the BJP, the minister said, “It appears that a decision has been taken to remove B.Y. Vijayendra from the post of BJP state president. Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has also spoken about it. Therefore, Vijayendra is undertaking the padayatra to save his position.”

“There is a drought, and farmers are facing problems. All of us need to come together and think about these issues. The people have elected us for five years. Once the five-year term is completed, we will face the elections. The people will decide who will remain and who will be swept away,” he said.
