Karkala: A pedestrian was killed in a road mishap near Sri Krishna Petrol Bunk Belman here on Monday August 10.
The deceased has been identified as Jaggu resident of Belman.
According to police the accident occurred while Jaggu was crossing the road. A Truck which was on its way from Karkala to Padubidri, hit Jaggu and overturned. Locals rushed him to a private hospital, but he succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
A case has been registered in Karkala Rural Police Station.
