Karopadi Gram Panchayat Vice President Hacked to Death
Vittal: Four masked miscreants who came on bikes hacked Karopadi Gram Panchayat vice president to death at the Panchayat premises here on April 20.
The deceased has been identified as Jalil, son of Usman Karopadi .
According to sources four miscreants with face covered with masks barged into the Karopadi Gram Panchayat and brutally assaulted Jalil with swords. Severely injured Jalil was rushed to the hospital in Derlakatte where he breathed his last.
A case has been registered in Vittal Police station and investigation is on.
