Prior to her debut in this Tulu film, Adhvithi has acted along with her twin sister Ashvithi, making her debut in blockbuster Kannada movie ‘Mr and Mrs Ramachari’, starring Yash and Radhika Pandit. Both the sisters later starred in Kannada movie ‘Suli’ along with veteran actor Srinath.

Her appearance in web series titled ‘Bangalore Queen’, was viewed by 2, 20,972 people in YouTube, making it a success. This talented lass been involved in a small screen production, including a daily soap ‘Eradu Kanasu’, telecasted on Star Suvarna Channel, has received positive response for her acting skills and onscreen presence.

Speaking to Team Mangalorean about her role in the upcoming Tulu film “Illokkel”, Adhvithi Shetty said, “I am totally overwhelmed for making my debut in Tulu film, because Tulu being my mother tongue. Guess I will be learning new things from this Coastalwood team. In ‘Illokel’, which is a story about an architect, I am playing the lead role as the architect. ‘Illokkel’ is a comedy oriented movie and will turn out to be an entertainer for the audience. With most of the scenes of the movie already being completed and shot exclusively in Kudla, ‘Illokkel’ could hit the silver screens within the next two months. Since I consider both Kannada and Tulu film industry equally, I think at the end it’s all about acting and giving the best of my performance. My role in Kannada movie ‘Eradu Kanasu’ was more related to me and I had gained wonderful experience during the shoot. The most memorable and best moment of my life was that I got opportunity to work with veteran actors like Jayanthi and Chandrashekar.”

When asked if she has any future projects lined up, Adhvithi said, “I am starring in Kannada thriller titled ‘#1888- the movie”, and ‘Girgitle’ which will be released in the nearest future. I have also been getting offers from Tamil, Telugu films, but yet to take up the gauntlet. I want to wait and see with a positive note, as to what’s going to happen next. But I definitely need the support of Mangalureans, people of DK and also Karnataka to support me in whichever movies I act- Kannada, Tulu, or any other language films”
