Bishop Gerald Lobo Visits Pejawar Swamiji at KMC Hosptial
Udupi: Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi Diocese visited KMC Hospital to enquire the health condition of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Sri Pejawar Math, Udupi with the hospital authorities on December 23.
Later speaking to mediapersons Bishop Gerald said, “We have a good relationship with the Swamiji since the last 7 years. On many occasions, I have shared the dais with the Pejawar Swamiji. Today I have come here to enquire the health condition of the Swamiji. We should all pray for Pejawar Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji’s early recovery. Our Diocese is also praying for the speedy recovery of Swamiji and we hope he will be back soon for the Sri Krishna Puja”.
An influential public figure, the 88-year-old Pejawar Swamiji was at the forefront in spearheading the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
