18-year-old student Dies of Cardiac Arrest during Independence day celebrations
Kundapur: In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old student died due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday, August 15 during the Independence day celebrations at B B Hegde College Kundapur here.
The deceased has been identified as Amith Poojary (18) Son of Ananada and Sugandhi residents of Hattikudru of Kundapur Taluk.
According to sources, the student was suffering from heart problems and was under treatment. On Tuesday morning Amith attended the flag hoisting ceremony and thereafter was watching the cultural programme. He suddenly developed chest pain, immediately the college staff rushed him to the nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him brought dead.
Amith is survived by his parents and two sisters Aishwarya and Anushree.
