186 Persons Test Positive for Coronavirus In DK on July 11
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 186 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus, in Dakshina Kannada district on July 11.
Out of the 186 positive cases, 37 persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Ten persons had returned from the UAE and Qatar and two persons had travelled from Bengaluru. Sixty-four persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and seventeen persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI).
The other 13 persons had tested positive during a random test and four persons tested positive during the pre-surgery test. The health officials are tracing the contacts of thirty-two others.
All the 186 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, twenty-nine persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
