Chaiwala in 2014 now Chowkidar, PM Modi in Confusion – Ivan D’Souza
Mangaluru: “Modi is in confusion, in 2014 Modi he said that he was a Chaiwala and held a number of “Chai pe Charcha” programmes. After five years the Chaiwala is not in the news. Now PM Modi says that he is the chowkidar and all are chowkidars and is fooling the people. Where has the Chaiwala is gone? How did the Chaiwala become the Chowkidar? questioned MLC Ivan D’Souza in a press meet held at the DCC office Mallikatta here on March 26.
Addressing the mediapersons Ivan D’Souza said, “Our MP is going around wearing the peta on his head. We put the peta for those who achieve something in life but our MP says that he is wearing the Chowkidar peta. Chowkidar is also a profession and our PM is now in confusion”.
Ivan D’Souza further said, “We did not have an MP in DK for the past 10 years. The post was empty and we are trying to fill it. Was there any development from the MP of DK? No there was no development at all. We are working on a strategy, We will work hard and win this election.
Ivan also said, “If we ask for a job, PM tells us to sell pakodas. Instead, he can ask people to work as chowkidars. The PM is in confusion, the way he governs is not what the people expected. BJP minister Nitin Gadkari himself has said that the BJP made a number of promises but failed to fulfill them”.
