Students clash at SMS College Campus Brahmavar
Brahmavar: Clash between two groups of students at the SMS college campus was reported on February 7.
According to the police on February 7, while Nithesh Kumar (18) from Sastan was walking towards his classroom, some students namely Nirikshith, Mayur, Ashwin, Ankith, Raghavendra, Gautam and Shreyas assaulted him. Later the same group assaulted Deepak, Sachin and Vasuki.
On February 6, during a procession held to lift the ban on Kambala, Nithesh and his friends had stared at Nirikshith and his group which led to the assault, it is alleged.
A case has been registered in the Brahmavar police station.
