Udupi Coronavirus Tally Rises to 23 with Five Fresh Positive Cases
Udupi: With Coronavirus cases rising in Udupi district after the return of people from Maharastra, Telangana and UAE, five more new cases were detected on Sunday Evening, taking the tally of total cases to 23 in just one day.
Out of the five new cases, a 44-year-old woman had returned from UAE, 26-year-old man returned from Telangana and the other three had returned from Maharastra.
The afternoon bulletin released by the state health department mentioned that 18 fresh cases had been detected in the state. In the evening bulletin stated that five more positive cases have been detected in the state, taking the tally of total cases to 76 in the district.
The state health department officials said that of the 76 cases, 72 are active, 1 person has died and 3 have recovered.
