Mother and Children Murder: MLC Manjunath Bhandary Consoles Family Members
Udupi: The district SP has promised to arrest the accused in connection with the murder case of four members of the same family. It is not right to ask and tell about the investigations said Member of Legislative Council Manjunath Bhandary. He was speaking to media persons after visiting Noor Mohammed’s family members on November 14.
I was with the Home Minister when this incident took place and I came here on the instructions of the Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar. As soon as I reached Udupi, I was told to visit the family members, so I came along with the Congress leaders and consoled them.
“The people of all the surrounding areas stand with this family, this incident should not be repeated. The government is with the family and the home minister is doing everything possible to help the family. The police department is doing its best in this regard. No matter who the accused is, strict action will be taken. The Police should send a clear message in this regard. The killer has no humanity at all and should be dealt with accordingly”, said the Home Minister.
Congress leaders Prasadraj Kanchan, Ramesh Kanchan, Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, M A Gafoor and others were present.
